How can a craft brewery succeed in Half Time Beverage’s stores and e-commerce platform?
Jason Daniels, the chief operating officer for the New York craft beer store, explains during the latest Retail Pulse edition of Brewbound Frontlines.
“If you want to stand out and you want to do well in a Half Time, you have to have a rep in place to sample and support, you have to have people to talk about the brand as a whole, and you have to get us, the company, excited about selling your product,” he said.
In addition to Half Time’s two New York (Mamaroneck and Poughkeepsie) stores, the company ships to about 30 states. Half Time’s selection amounts to about 4,000 craft beer and cider offerings from more than 800 breweries from 50 countries. And the company puts a special emphasis on so-called “hype” beers.
Daniels discusses those offerings, as well as how long Half Time gives products to succeed, direct shipping, pandemic changes and much more.
