ASHEVILLE, N.C.—Asheville asked, and UpCountry Brewing heard. The brewery is tapped the keg on a fresh batch of their Dill Pickle Gose Wednesday, 12/12, at 6:00P.M.
“What’s The Dill?” Dill Pickle Gose – 4.5% ABV, 11 IBU
Our classic gose recipe infused with over four pounds per barrel of fresh cucumbers, pickling spices, and aromatic dill.
“This is one of our most popular beers we’ve ever brewed, and I totally understand why,” says UpCountry Brewing’s owner, John Cochran. “You get the dill right off of the scent alone, and then the beer goes down surprisingly smooth. Not as much bite as you’d think—it’s very refreshing. I’d love to have this on tap year round!”
In addition to the Dill Pickle Gose, here’s the most recent lineup of new brews at UpCountry Brewing:
Coco Mojo Imperial Porter—10.7% ABV, 23 IBU
This Imperial Porter is infused with toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, and almond extract, inspired by the flavors of an Almond Joy. The booziness is balanced by notes of coconut, chocolate, and a hint of almond on the nose.
Pint of Ghosts Barleywine—10.5% ABV, 65 IBU
This full bodied, boozy beer is sure to keep you warm as the seasons start to change. We aggressively hopped this beer with a mixture of fruity American hops, to help balance the bitterness with the bready, caramel malt character. Stay tuned for the bourbon barrel aged version!
Vienna Lager—5.4% ABV, 15 IBU
This smooth drinking lager was made with a base of Vienna malt and hopped with Perleand Mandarina Bavaria to balance out the toasty, rich malt character. These newer brews are available at UpCountry Brewing’s Asheville location, located at 1042 Haywood Road. As of this Friday, 12/14, UpCountry’s Asheville taproom will have twenty-seven unique house brewed beer on tap.
