ASHEVILLE, N.C. — UpCountry Brewing has officially begun canning two new beers: the Black Currant Gose and the sCAMPer IPA. The brewery has now canned six of its beers with these two following their Bogey Free Session IPA, Hop Dread Red IPA, Mangose, and the UpCo Mountain Lager.
sCAMPer IPA – 6.5% ABV
Brewed in collaboration with our friends at sCAMPer Van, this easy drinking IPA is perfect for your next road trip. Light copper in color, sCAMPer showcases flavors of pine and citrus alongside a light, floral aroma.
Black Currant Gose – 4.8% ABV
Our Simply Sour Series offers approachable, mouth-watering, and refreshingly tart kettle-soured recipes. Banned in the U.S. for decades, Black Currant is making a well-deserved comeback. Vibrant in color, this dark fruit infused gose explodes with deep berry notes and closes with a slightly dry finish.
“My favorite thing about these two cans is simple: the quality of the beer and the vibrant artwork,” says Sophie Lotstein, one of the managers at UpCountry. “It’s gorgeous. Good Beer Hunting did a great job.”
Six packs of 12 oz. cans of the Black Currant Gose and sCAMPer IPA are now available for purchase both at the brewery and in stores around Asheville. Make sure you grab some to go for your next adventure!
UpCountry Brewing is located at 1042 Haywood Road in West Asheville and provides a full menu featuring craft beer, cocktails, and food.
