New York, NY — Today, Owl’s Brew founders Jennie Ripps and Maria Littlefield announce the release of their new product, Owl’s Brew Radler – a blend of fresh-brewed organic tea infused with real fruits and botanicals and mixed with craft beer. This marks a new chapter for the Owl’s Brew brand, which launched in 2013 with a line of tea cocktail mixers crafted specifically for cocktails.
“Three years ago we were launching Owl’s Brew out of my living room…and even then, Maria and I found ourselves mixing our tea blends with different beers. The combination tasted like nothing we had ever tried – refreshing, crisp and delightful. We never forgot how much we loved this combination – and about a year ago, we felt that we had to bring it to market,” says Founder/CEO Jennie Ripps.
“We’re very excited to be launching Owl’s Brew Radler – Jennie and I have both put in a lot of work in terms of sourcing and developing both our craft beer and our organic teas. We believe that beer and tea are the perfect double brew!” adds Partner/President Maria Littlefield.
Owl’s Brew Radler is a sessionable beer style, and is the first stand-alone line of Radlers on the market. Owl’s Brew Radler is currently hitting shelves across the country, and can be found in select on- and off-premise locations throughout the Northeast in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, DC, Maryland,Maine, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio and Massachusetts with plans to eventually expand to the West Coast and nationwide. Owl’s Brew Radler is priced at $9.99 -$11.99/six-pack. As with its other products and mixers, Owl’s Brew Radlers features organic, whole ingredients with no added flavors (artificial or natural).
Ripps and Littlefield were inspired by the Radler beer-style invented in 1922 for a group of cyclists which offered a bold flavor, yet was light enough for cyclists to continue riding. The entrepreneurial duo tinkered and toiled in their Brew Lab, finally creating the perfect “double brew” recipes fit for beer and tea lovers alike. As a result, Owl’s Brew Radler will come in four distinct flavors: The Blondie – wheat beer with English breakfast tea, lemon and lime; (that’s my) JAM – amber ale with Darjeeling, strawberry & hibiscus; Short & Stout – chocolate stout with black tea, chai spices, coconut & pineapple juice (seasonal winter offering); and Wicked Watermelon – wheat beer with white tea, watermelon and pomegranate – spring 2017 release.
Owl’s Brew Radler is priced at $11.99/six-pack. For more information visit: www.theowlsbrew.com, and follow on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
