LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster Brewing Company donated $3,000 after hosting “Brewing Up a Cure for Crohn’s & Colitis” on October 9. Lancaster Brewing presented a check on Thursday, October 17 to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).

The Lancaster Brewing Company donated 20% of all food sales and 100% of all Oktoberfest pints to CCFA.

Crohn’s & Colitis was brought to Lancaster Brewing Company’s attention by Controller Sherrie Eckman who was diagnosed with Crohn’s eight years ago. “Lancaster Brewing Company has stepped forward not only to support me, but also CCFA,” said Eckman. “This fundraiser went above and beyond my expectations and I am deeply overwhelmed by the support and dedication Lancaster Brewing Company has.”

On behalf of the Lancaster Brewing, representatives Nick Keares, Pete Keares, Brent Eshelman, Sherrie Eckman, and Tyler Eckman presented the $3,000 check to Natalie Smith, the Take Steps Manager of CCFA.
