MIAMI — J. Wakefield Brewing, Wynwood’s only independently-owned craft brewery, is releasing its first-ever adjunct set, The Adjunctron Project, sometime this week.
The Adjunctron Project features a barrel-aged imperial stout (14% ABV), which will be released in 500ml bottles, along with five different versions, with each of the following adjuncts: coffee, vanilla, coconut, cocoa nibs and cinnamon.
“We’ve never released a set like this. The different versions really give the drinker a sense of how the right adjuncts can enhance the flavor profile of an individual beer. We think it makes a great holiday gift for craft beer lovers. It’s certainly something we’d love to receive,” explained Maria Cabre, head brewer and director of brewery operations.
The sets will become available via flash release, sometime this week. Fans are instructed to keep an eye on JWB’s social media channels for the on-sale announcement. The sets will sell for $150. There is a one-set per customer limit.
