ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Dana Perino, former White House press secretary, co-host of Fox News Channel’s The Five, best-selling author and political analyst, will speak during the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) 80th Annual Convention and Trade Show general session on Monday, October 9. The convention will take place October 8 – 11, 2017, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Perino helps drive the conversation and provides political analysis on the popular prime-time show The Five. She brings a respected voice to discussion and debate regarding issues of the day and offers a unique perspective on the political environment, having served as press secretary under President George W. Bush. Perino spent more than seven years as part of the administration, joining right after the September 11 attacks as a spokesperson for the Justice Department. She also is a veteran of Capitol Hill and worked as a reporter at TV stations in her home state of Colorado and in Springfield, Illinois, early in her career.
Perino will talk about the dynamic political environment, the pulse of American voters, the role of the media in a healthy democracy and what all of this means for advancing a policy agenda for the country.
“NBWA is thrilled to offer a dynamic convention program with insightful speakers, 22 education seminars taught by the industry’s leading experts and a two-day Trade Show filled with vendors featuring innovative products and services for beer distributors,” said NBWA President & CEO Craig Purser.
