DURANGO, CO — Durango Brewing Company announces that Durango Pale Ale has been recognized with a Silver Medal at the 2014 Denver International Beer Competition.
This double-blind competition took place April 12 & 13, 2014 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado. More than 20 certified beer judges and Internationally acclaimed brewers Keith Villa, Founder and Brewmaster of Blue Moon Brewing and Bryan Selders former brewer at Dog Fish Head Brewery, Founding Brewer and Partner at The Post Brewing Company, judged beers in more than 41 style categories. A total of 108 medals were awarded.
Mark Harvey, owner and General Manager of Durango Brewing says: “This marks our second year entering this competition and our third medal. We are always excited to be recognized in competitions of this type. The medals validate the efforts of our brewers to make great beer with passion and dedication to style.” Durango Pale Ale was awarded the Silver Medal in the American Pale Ale category.
