New York, N.Y. — City Brew Tours, dedicated to curating the ultimate craft beer tour experience, launches in NYC today following the company’s notable success throughout the Northeast, including Washington DC, Boston, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and more.
Founded in 2008, City Brew Tours was created to provide an all-inclusive craft beer experience led by expert local beer guides that introduce guests to the art of craft brewing, along with the culture and history surrounding it. Founder Chad Brodsky has built City Brew Tours on a foundation focused on fun, education, history and hands-on participation. During a typical four-hour tour, guests will skip the lines and learn about their favorite brewery’s history and brewing process. Guests will also sample beers, key ingredients, new styles and flavors without having to worry about driving or navigating public transportation.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to launch in New York,” says Chad Brodsky, Founder & CEO of City Brew Tours. “We’re known for providing an exceptional experience featuring fantastic beer, delicious food pairings and a unique insider perspective that brings the art of craft beer to life.”
He adds, “Beer tourism has become a significant economic driver in the United States. City Brew Tours has proven to be one of the nation’s leaders in showcasing a city’s exceptional breweries by bringing over 20,000 guests to beer destinations in the past year alone.”
The Brooklyn-based City Brew Tour includes up to 15 beer tastings, behind the scenes visits to three local craft breweries, a lunch or dinner beer pairing and round trip transportation. Passionate beer guides provide an in-depth journey through the complex history of beer from Pre-Civilization to the rise and growth of the craft movement. City Brew Tours NYC will add an itinerary in Queens by July and other boroughs by next year.
Participating NYC breweries for City Brew Tours New York to date include Brooklyn Brewery, Circa Brewing Co., Five Boroughs Brewing Co., Wartega, Interboro Spirits & Ales, The Kings Beer Hall with more to come throughout the year and into 2019.
Tours can be booked during the day and in the evening, and can be customized for corporate outings, bachelor/bachelorette parties & special occasions. “We’ve worked with small business owners and Fortune 500 companies to craft unique and unforgettable beer-centric experiences,” says Chief Operating Officer Barry Hansen. He adds. “Whether you’re a local, a business or just visiting it’s a fantastic way to get to know the booming New York beer scene and meet some great people along the way.
