Brooklyn, NY – Today Braven Brewing Company, the fast-rising craft beer maker based in Brooklyn, NY, released Las Tumbas, an orange/habanero/chocolate stout. This is the first time Braven has released Las Tumbas.
Brewed with Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, Oat Malt, and Caramunich 40, Las Tumbas™ transports you to Oaxaca, Mexico for an incomparable drinking delight. Smell the hints of orange, taste the rich chocolate, and feel the burn of habanero peppers to experience this multi-layered brew.
“A 7.5% ABV, habanero-infused American stout is a stark contrast from our flagship Bushwick Pilsner,” said Marshall S. Thompson, co-founder and CEO of Braven. “But we’ve kicked around this style for about three years and are thrilled to finally be able to release it to our fans.”
The Las Tumbas™ logo features artwork by Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Dan Nelson from Rose Tattoo Parlour in Williamsburg. Famous for his distinct take on American Traditional designs, Dan crafted this flash-ready ink that evokes the rich flavors of the beer that inspired it.
Braven is celebrating the launch of Las Tumbas™ with a series of tap takeovers all across New York City. You can RSVP for these events at https://facebook.com/bravenbrewing and check out the tour schedule here:
