Bell’s Brewery has filled out its new distribution map in southern Indiana. The Comstock, Michigan-headquartered craft brewery announced 15 new wholesaler partners, all within Anheuser-Busch’s network of wholesalers in the state.
The transition comes two months after Bell’s portfolio was excluded from the sale of Indianapolis-headquartered Monarch Beverages to the Reyes Beer Division. Monarch had sold around 200,000 case equivalents of Bell’s products.
Bell’s founder Larry Bell had informed its wholesaler partners last year that it would not allow its brands to be sold to certain successor wholesalers, including A-B, Molson Coors and Reyes.
Bell’s new network in the southern part of the state includes:
- Zink Distributing Co.
- Mid-America Beverage
- North Vernon Beverage Co.
- Bartholomew County Beverage
- Greenfield Beverage
- L.C. Nadorff & Son, Inc.
- Orange County Beverage Co.
- Working Distributors Inc.
- Hedinger Beverage Distributing Co. Inc.
- Craig Distributing Co. Inc.
- Terrance A. Smith Distributing
- Best Beers Inc.
- Jay County Beverage
- Little Beverage Co. Inc.
- Boone Beverage Inc
“Indiana is a very important state for us,” Bell’s VP of sales and marketing Matt Moberly said in a press release. “These new partners are family-run and well connected to their communities. We are all very excited to work with our new extended family.”
“All share our dedication to quality and we look forward to continuing the excellence that our customers expect,” Larry Bell added.
Bell’s said it does not expect issues with beer availability. Interruptions in supply should be minimal, if at all.
Distribution of Bell’s offerings in northern Indiana has continued uninterrupted with Indiana Beverage.
