FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Springdale by Jack’s Abby Brewing LLC announces its full distribution launch in the Philadelphia area through their wholesaler, Shangy’s. Philadelphia will see Springdale’s core lineup of canned ales, including Pearly Wit, Brigadeiro Breakfast Stout, and Good N’ You NEIPA.
This lineup will be complemented with small bottle runs of barrel-aged sours such as No Fuzz (Sour beer aged on Nectarines), Ghost Species (Sour beer aged in Red Wine barrels), and Kriek Mythology (Oak-aged Sour Beer with Cherries). Limited releases of sour beers will continue throughout 2018.
“Even considering recent sporting events, Philadelphia remains one of our favorite cities, especially for its vibrant beer and food scene,” said Springdale General Manager Joe Connolly. “We believe that the vibrant, expressive and accessible beers we brew will be an exciting addition to that scene, and will continue to support our line of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers.”
Springdale was founded in December of 2016 with a taproom, arcade and to-go beer sales. Springdale specializes in barrel-aged and sour beers, as well as a line of clean-fermented ales and New England-style IPAs. Select Springdale beers are also available in the Massachusetts and New York markets.
Throughout March, Springdale will be holding launch events throughout the city of Philadelphia. Limited, one-off and draft-only releases will be available at each event.
