Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey, a brewing company based in San Marcos, Calif., announced today the hires of Frank Green III, on-premise sales manager, and Adam Martinez, media and marketing specialist.
“Each brings skills and a passion for amazing craft beer,” said Tomme Arthur, director of brewery operations for Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey.
Green III worked as the sales manager for Butchers Brewing in 2012, and also worked as an account representative for Airdale Brewing in 2010.
“Being able to sell amazing beer in a city like San Diego is as good as it gets,” he said.
Martinez spent the past 11 years working for radio stations owned by Clear Channel and Lincoln Financial Media. He most recently worked as the marketing and promotions director for San Diego’s 94.9 FM.
“It’s a realization of a dream being able to not only work in the craft beer industry, but to also represent two brands of beer that I’ve been such a fan of over the years, it’s surreal,” Martinez said.
The hires come in the midst of the company’s expansion to boost brewing capacity to more than 20,000 barrels, which Arthur discussed with Brewbound last May.
