Grand Rapids, Mich. – Founders Brewing Co. announced today that it will be releasing its popular raspberry ale, Rubaeus, in 9-pack cans across its distribution footprint beginning in April 2016 with taproom availability beginning on March 18. The affectionately named “Ruby Cube” will contain 9-12oz cans and will have a suggested retail price of $17.99.
“We’ve been extremely excited to see the growth of Rubaeus over the years,” said co-Founder and President Dave Engbers. “It’s one of those beers that really makes an impression after that first sip. Moving Rubaeus from a seasonal offering to a year-round simply made sense due to the accelerated growth of the brand. We are anticipating a lot of growth for Rubaeus as the beer will have much greater exposure as a year-round along with being available in the 9-pack can package.”
Optimizing the flavor of fresh raspberries, Rubaeus is Founders’ way of celebrating the joys of summer year-round. This stunning berry-red masterpiece is the perfect blend of sweet, tart and refreshing. No question about it, this beer is 100% Founders. Rubaeus made its foray into Founders’ 2016 year-round lineup after seeing great success as a seasonal offering. This will be Founders’ fourth can package to hit shelves, following All Day IPA, Centennial IPA and Dirty Bastard.
