San Leandro, Calif. — If a baker’s dozen is 13 then a brewer’s dozen must be 15 because you can never have too much of a good thing, especially when that good thing is some tasty beer. At least that’s how the logic goes at the 21st Amendment Brewery, where two new 15 packs are all the rage for Fall.
Hitting retail shelves this month, fans of Blood Orange Brew Free! or Die IPA will be delighted to find 15 packs of this refreshing craft brew. “While the packaging celebrates ‘Three More Reasons The Fruit Shall Set You Free,’ in my opinion being able to buy 15 of these beers at once is the real celebration here,” said Nico Freccia, Co-Founder of 21st Amendment Brewery. “We released six packs of this beer in March and the response has been overwhelming. Personally I wanted more of this beer and so did everyone else, and we took that feedback to heart.”
In October, the brewery will put the “yay” in IPA with the introduction of a new seasonal IPA Variety Pack featuring Hop Crisis, Blah Blah Blah, Brew Free! or Die, Back in Black and Down to Earth. “We’re pretty excited about this new package,” said Shaun O’Sullivan, Co-Founder and Brewmaster of 21st Amendment. “It’s an incredible sampler platter of IPAs. When you open the box and dive in you’ll find two Imperial IPAs, a classic West Coast IPA, Black IPA and a Session IPA. This is an IPA drinkers dream come true.”
Fifteen packs of Blood Orange Brew Free! or Die IPA will be available year-round, while IPA Variety Packs will be on shelves through March 2018. Both packages will be available in all 21A distribution markets including AK, CA, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, WA and Washington D.C.
About 21st Amendment
In 2000, Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan opened the doors to the 21st Amendment brewpub in San Francisco’s historic South Park neighborhood with Freccia managing the restaurant and O’Sullivan spearheading the brewing process.
In addition to quickly becoming one of the city’s favorite pubs, 21st Amendment began expanding beyond the Bay Area by helping to pioneer the movement to canned craft beer. Known for their witty names and delicious brews, 21st Amendment offers year-round selections, as well as seasonal offerings and their ‘Insurrection Series’ of once-in-a-while limited edition release. Sold in 25 states, 21st Amendment operates out of its new San Leandro brewery headquarters and is among the top 50 craft beer brewers in America.
