Brewbound Session, the leading conference for brewery founders and executives, took place on December 1, 2016 in San Diego, CA.

Vann Russell, the founder and managing partner of Arlington Capital Advisors, discussed the money flowing into craft, the people behind it and the impact that investment is having on the sector.

Over the last two years, Russell has advised a number of craft brewery owners in a variety of transactions. His client list includes Stone Brewing, Victory Brewing and Cigar City as well as others like Dogfish Head, SweetWater Brewing and Abita.

In this conversation with Brewbound editor Chris Furnari, Russell shares his thoughts on the current M&A environment within craft, discusses buyer and seller considerations, current valuation metrics, and explains how he expects investments to evolve over the next 12-to-18 months.
