La Crosse, WI – A tribute to the sometimes tart but always effervescent Tami Plourde, Director of Marketing and Sales for Pearl Street Brewery, this tart and effervescent Belgian-style Framboise is brewed with yeast and bacteria cultures just like the spontaneously fermented beers of the Lambic regions of West Flanders. This beer is aged on a half-pound of raspberries for every pint.
First brewed in 2008 and first bottled in 2015, this 2017 batch of Raspberry Tambois (8.5% abv) is packaged in 22 oz bottles and on tap. The fruit beer pours a dark, nearly crimson red color with a strong raspberry aroma. Flavors boast of sweet raspberry with hints of sour and Belgian yeast.
The 2017 Raspberry Tambois will be released on Saturday, January 14th at Pearl Street Brewery’s Tasting Room. It will be paired with the beatboxing and a’cappella stylings of Minnesota’s own, Heatbox.
Raspberry Tambois is available on shelves and on draft in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa markets.
