New Orleans, Louisiana — NOLA Brewing will be turning six years old in March and the brewery is celebrating with an anniversary party on March 6 dubbed Six Years of Beers.
Although the brewery’s construction started in 2008, the first beer did not get produced until March 3, 2009. NOLA Brewing has since released multiple new beers, launched their sour program with the NOLA Funk Series and has expanded its distribution throughout the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. It will also soon be opening a new two-story tap room next door. “As I look back on the last six years, I am amazed at how we have exceeded my wildest expectations. Looking into the future, I can’t wait to begin our new sour beer program as as well as grow our brand into new areas of the beverage industry.” says Kirk Coco, NOLA Brewing’s President.
To celebrate this milestone, the NOLA Brewing krewe invites you to join them at the brewery located at 3001 Tchoupitoulas Street in the Irish Channel on March 6 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. for some great music and craft beer. “Our customers have been the number one reason for our success. We want to celebrate their importance to NOLA Brewing by throwing one hell of a great party!” adds Kirk.
The New Orleans Suspects will open up Six Years of Beers at 5:30 p.m. followed by Gravity A’s Talking Heads Tribute at 7 p.m. The night will close out with TAUK beginning at 9:30 p.m.
There will also be a limited edition 6th Anniversary Ale, a sour ale with peaches aged in white wine barrels, available on draft during the event and food will be available for purchase too.
