HOLLAND, MI — Big Lake Brewing has taken its first step toward out-of- state distribution by entering the Ohio market in a distribution partnership with Cleveland-based Sixth City Distribution.
“Right now we are starting with the greater Cleveland area and we’ll see what comes next,” commented Nic Winsemius, Co-Owner of Big Lake Brewing. “Sixth City will begin by distributing cans of Ryecoe and Citra Session, and draft Ryecoe, Citra Session, Ramarillo and Leroy Brown.”
This is the third expansion announcement from Big Lake in less than six months. It comes on the heels of the company’s announcement in March to relocate their pub to the former Serafina’s location in downtown Holland (tentatively scheduled to open by the end of 2017) and the opening of their new 19th Street production facility in January, which expanded their capabilities to 3,000 barrels per year.
