Bell’s Brewery yesterday announced plans to enter Texas in 2017.
In a press release, the nation’s seventh-largest craft beer producer said it would launch its full portfolio in the state early next year, although the Michigan-based brewery has yet to formally ink any distribution agreements.
Nevertheless, the company is in the process of building its Texas sales team, it said.
Texas is the eighth new market entry the brewery has broadcast in recent months. In March, Bell’s announced it would enter West Virginia this coming July. The company also plans to launch throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota in 2016.
Pending final wholesale arrangements, the company will be sold in 30 states by the end of this year.

Comstock, MI – Bell’s Brewery is thrilled to announce that it will begin distributing beer to Texas in early 2017.
“We’re looking forward to making all kinds of new friends and reconnecting with our Michigan and Midwest transplants,” Bell’s Vice President Laura Bell said.
Bell’s entire portfolio, including its year-round and seasonal beers, will head to Texas.
“This process will follow the same timeline we have followed for other new state launches,” Bell said.
“We will start with making sure we have Bell’s representatives in key areas, then we will begin searching for the right distributor partner who will help us maintain the quality and customer service that are central to who we are,” she said.
Texas will be the eighth state Bell’s Brewery adds to its distribution footprint following Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, South Dakota, Nebraska and West Virginia.
Additional details will be announced on the brewery’s website as they become available. Fans are also encouraged to follow Bell’s social media for the latest updates as well.
Applications are being accepted for the first Bell’s sales position based in Texas – a Regional Business Manager.
