Allagash Brewing Company is introducing its first true rotating seasonal beer lineup in 2024 with the House series, the company announced today.
The Portland, Maine-headquartered craft brewery is adding to the House family, which started with fall seasonal Haunted House hoppy dark ale (6.6% ABV), with Surf House Summer Lager (5.5% ABV) and Ski House winter white ale (7.5%).
The cohesive House series will officially launch in Q2 with Surf House throughout Allagash’s 19-state, plus Washington, D.C., distribution footprint. Each offering will be available in 12 oz. can 6- and 12-packs.
Allagash sales director Naomi Neville said in the release: “We’re really excited about our 2024 lineup, from the House series that has been designed to flow seamlessly from one season into the next, to continuing to build on the brand equity of our core portfolio of White, Hop Reach, Curieux and Tripel. There is a tremendous amount of potential here, and we’re looking forward to working with our distribution partners to successfully bring this series to life and into the hands of our customers.”
Allagash also offered an update on the performance its core lineup:
- Allagash White is the No. 3 craft Belgian wit in the U.S., per NIQ year-to-date (YTD) scan data through August 12;
- Hop Reach IPA is the No. 1 new craft brand in New England in NIQ scans for New England food YTD through August 12;
- Tripel sales are up +8% by volume YTD after switching from 4-pack to 6-pack bottles, per VIP YTD data through August 31;
- Curieux barrel-aged golden ale is adding 16 oz. cans in California, in addition to 12 oz. and 750 mL bottles.
Allagash ranked as the 20th largest Brewers Association-defined craft brewery by volume in 2022, with production of 119,848 barrels of beer (+2% year-over-year).
