Vista Brewing is excited to announce the release of collaboration wine-beer hybrid ales over two years in the making. The brewery worked with local wineries William Chris Vineyards and Lewis Wines to source fresh, Texas-grown wine grape juice, as well as wine barrels, for this unique project. The series is available for tasting and to-go at the brewery and will be showcased at two upcoming events.
Vista Brewing, the Texas Hill Country’s newest destination brewery, has announced the launch of its unique barrel program led by award-winning brewer Josh Watterson. Watterson is focusing on Lambic-style and Brettanomyces beers which utilize local ingredients and are fermented in freshly-emptied wine barrels from Central Texas.
Vista Brewing, a hospitality destination located on a 21-acre historic property in Driftwood, Texas, will open on Friday, April 20. All are invited to join the Vista team, as they debut Texas’ newest brewery simultaneously with delicious on-site fare, scenic event spaces, farm, apiary and walking trails throughout.
