Charter Oak Brewing is located in Danbury, Connecticut with a 10,000 square-foot facility including a 20 barrel brewing system as well as a pilot 5 barrel system.
The operation has a capacity of nearly 4,000 barrels and space to grow to over 25,000 barrels. The Danbury location also has a taproom with 10 rotating draft lines and offers cask conditioned beer as well. Charter Oak is currently focused on the Connecticut craft beer market and has plans to expand its distribution to the neighboring states of Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

Charter Oak Brewing, located in historic Danbury, Connecticut continues to market new styles including their recent unique holiday ale called Fresh Cut Spruce Ale, brewed from Spruce Trees donated by a local farmer.
The brewery’s most most introduction just hit the market, Little Charter Session IPA. The Little Charter, with its elegant teal label is now a core Charter Oak Brewery beer.

Charter Oak Brewing Company’s latest release in our popular ‘Charter Series’ is a re-release of the Lights Out Stout which has been carefully cellar aged in the bottle for one year. This is a very well rounded and perfectly balanced, yet robust, Russian Imperial Stout.
Charter Oak’s second in their limited release ‘Charter Series’ is Lights On Summer Ale (recall, it was when the candles were relit, the Charter was missing) is an easy drinking, wheat based beer infused with real Oranges.
