Revered craft brewery Lawson’s Finest Liquids this week announced plans to expand its presence in the Northeast, with the addition of new markets in Massachusetts, Connecticut and its home state of Vermont.
The company has signed with Atlantic Beverage Distributors (formerly Atlantic Importing) for new distribution throughout Massachusetts.
In a press statement, Lawson’s said 16 oz. cans of its popular “Sip of Sunshine” IPA will be delivered to the Bay State on a monthly basis. The company also plans to distribute its “Super Session #2” offering to Massachusetts “in future months.”
“Atlantic has shown us their commitment to keeping our beers cold and getting them to our fans as fresh as possible with their new distribution facility in Holliston and a talented staff,” Lawson’s co-owner and brewer Sean Lawson said via a press release.
The brewery also plans to expand its coverage throughout Vermont, adding markets in the northern part of state, including popular ski destination Stowe, VT.
“Look for Lawson’s Finest in new locations thanks to the addition of a third truck at the Mad River Food Hub, home to our wholesale distribution company The Beer Guy, LLC,” operations director TJ Greenwood said in the press release.
Lawson’s also plans to deepen its coverage in Connecticut, where it currently produces beer under contract at Two Roads Brewing, and distributes via Hartford Distributors Inc. and Star Distributing.
Founded in 2008, the company is also planning to break ground on a new 30-barrel brewery and taproom, located in Waitsfield, Vermont, this spring, it said. In addition to products made under the supervision of Two Roads, Lawson’s makes a number of small-batch offerings at its 7-barrel brewery in Warren, Vermont.
