Bend, OR (April 20, 2015) – Hydro Flask, the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks, has hired eight new employees in the marketing, product, operations and human resources departments. The hires are a direct result of the Oregon-based company’s fast growth and a continuing consumer demand for Hydro Flask products.
Senior E-Commerce Manager Robbie Williams joined the marketing team in late January to drive the company’s digital strategy. Williams will lead direct sales and create an engaging online customer service experience. Previously, Williams worked in the online marketing space for Road Runner Sports in San Diego, CA.
Jason Valdez fills the role of Retail Marketing Manager at Hydro Flask. Valdez brings over twenty years of experience in the outdoor, natural food, and action sports industries at Whole Foods Market, Hurley International and Billabong. Valdez joined the marketing team in March and will be driving all retail marketing programs across Hydro Flask’s outdoor, natural food, brewery and coffee channels.
Creative Project Manager Eric Molletta joined in March to develop and execute Hydro Flask’s integrated marketing and branding projects. Molletta comes from Brown Bag Marketing, an integrated marketing agency in Atlanta, GA, where he managed creative and strategic delivery for brands such as AT&T, Scientific Games and Piedmont Healthcare.
Casper Rubalcava will be rounding out the marketing team as the new Field Marketing Manager. Rubalcava officially joined Hydro Flask on April 20th, and he’ll be charged with the strategy, design and execution of the company’s consumer and industry tradeshows and events. Rubalcava has over 20 years experience in the outdoor and cycling industries, where he most recently served as the Brand Manager for Yakima Products.
Justin Taylor joined Hydro Flask in late January as the new Product Design Engineer. Taylor is helping to drive and advance new hydration product concepts, and perform prototype testing and troubleshooting. Prior to Hydro Flask, Taylor worked for SeeScan Incorporated in San Diego, CA, where he served as a project leader in R&D.
Wes Conner joined the Hydro Flask team as the new Operations Business Analyst. Conner spent the past six years at Rejuvenation, the lighting division of Williams-Sonoma. Conner joined the Operations team in March, and will develop and manage business process improvements for the company.
Executive Assistant Adryon Wong joined Hydro Flask’s leadership team in early March. Wong will provide high-level support to the CEO and the senior executive team. Previously, Wong worked at telecommunications company BendBroadband.
Senior Human Resources Manager Tiffany Blanchet has been hired to build and grow Hydro Flask’s Human Resources department. Blanchet joined Hydro Flask in March and brings over seven years of experience in hands-on and strategic HR duties. Prior to Hydro Flask, Blanchet worked at Pacific Cycle in Madison, WI.
