Blackberry Farm Brewery (BFB) is expanding their Maryville Taproom offerings with the addition of food service, a new in-house kitchen facility and extended operating hours with full food service beginning on April 6, 2022.
The Blackberry Farm Brewery has partnered with Brew Hub of Lakeland, FL, to introduce a line of canned craft beers launching in July 2017. While the brewery’s cork and cage bottles have been the brand’s hallmark and a great success in the craft beer market, the line of canned beers is designed to offer a Blackberry Farm beer option ideal for outdoor adventures, spending time with friends and being present to enjoy everyday moments
Blackberry Farm Brewery’s native family of ales features a wide range of styles and flavors that share one extraordinary, common component: native wild yeasts harvested from across Blackberry Farm’s 4,200 protected acres at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains. These yeast strains have been carefully gathered and maintained for Blackberry Farm Brewery by South Yeast Labs and reflect the local micro-flora unique to Blackberry Farm’s location in the mountains of East Tennessee.
The Blackberry Farm Brewery will release Abbey Blonde, its first beer as part of its Abbey series this month as well as Abbey Brune in May. The Blackberry Farm Brewery’s Abbey family of ales draws its inspiration directly from the classic monastic brewing traditions of the Old World.
Stone Brewing Co. is nearly national and the San Diego-based craft beer maker said it plans to be distributing in all 50 states before the end of 2016. It will move one step closer today, as it rolls out throughout Arkansas, its 42nd state. Michigan’s Bell’s Brewery, meanwhile, said it will continue its 2016 distribution expansion in May with forays into Nebraska, South Dakota and Kansas.
In keeping with the spirit of traditional Old-World Farmhouse Ales, Blackberry Farm Brewery has crafted a golden, dry-hopped Saison featuring German Select, Tettnanger, East Kent Golding hops. This beer’s floor-malted pilsner grain bill and classic Belgian Saison yeast create a pleasantly light and balanced beer, accentuated by subtle earth and spice notes from the Noble dry hop addition.
