Canadian-headquartered Red Truck Beer Company has reached an agreement to acquire Fort Collins Brewery’s (FCB) building and assets from owners Tom, Jan and Tina Peters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) announces an exciting change to the FCB team. Brand Ambassador, Josh Hall, will continue to support sales distributors and accounts across the FCB footprint as the newly appointed National Sales Manager.
On Tuesday, December 6th Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) will release on draft at the Modern Tavern, Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Chocolate Stout, the fourth limited edition brew from FCB’s signature Savor Series line. The small batch creation will also be available on draft and in 16oz cans throughout FCB’s distribution footprint, beginning later in the week.
Last year when REI CEO, Jerry Stritzke, announced REI’s Opt Outside campaign, Tina Peters, Co-Owner and General Manager of FCB: Fort Collins Brewery, immediately applauded the notion and wanted to support REI and their inspirational move to Opt Outside on Black Friday.
On Tuesday October 4th, Fort Collins Brewery and Farnam House Brewing out of Nebraska will be releasing an ancient-style ale called The Golden Standard. Reinheitsgebot, or German Purity Law, has reigned for 500 years and limits beer brewing to basic ingredients: water, hops, barley and later yeast. The Golden Standard will deviate from the purity law and revisit the pre-reinheitsgebot era of beer expanding outside those main ingredients.
Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) is excited to announce a partnership with Western Distributing. “FCB has an excellent array of amazing beers that our friends and families love and we’re excited to share that with the great people of Casper,” said Western Distributing President Kirk Klungness.
On Thursday, September 8th Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) will release on draft at the Modern Tavern, Belgian-Style Oud Bruin, the third limited edition brew from FCB’s signature Savor Series line. The small batch creation will also be available on draft and in 16oz cans throughout FCB’s distribution footprint in the following weeks.
On August 25th, Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) will be releasing the third installment of their Hybrid Series, Stout Collaborate & Listen, a collaboration brew with Verboten Brewing. “We always love collaborating with friends in our craft brew community,” said Verboten Head Brewer Josh Grenz. “We count FCB as good friends and a staple brewery. We both make high quality consistent beers, so it was fun to come up with something together.” This continuation of the Hybrid Series blends two styles with inspirations drawn from FCB’s Shot Down Chocolate Stout and Verboten’s Pure Imagination Oatmeal Stout. The result, a Steam Coffee Stout.
Last year, Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) took home a gold medal for Oktoberfest in the Dortmunder/German-Style Oktoberfest category at the Great American Beer Festival, a premier U.S. beer festival and competition that draws over 60,000 attendees. But a shiny 2015 GABF® gold medal was just the tip of the iceberg for the brewery. On August 11th Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) will proudly release the award-winning Oktoberfest for the 3rd year in a row. The release is particularly nostalgic given the brewery’s recent rebrand.
On July 2nd, locals will have an opportunity to try July seasonal Peaches & Barley before the general public. Fort Collins Brewery (FCB) will have the Belgian-Style Peach Saison on draft at the Modern Tavern. The crisp, summer saison pays homage to the tradition and style of saisons but remains unmistakably FCB. One crucial component when working with the sweetness of peaches and apricots in the brew is balance.
