Brewbound reporter Zoe Licata chats with Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster Garrett Oliver about Brewbound's 2024 New Product of the Year, Brooklyn Brewery's Fonio Rising pale ale, the latest release in a series of beers created by Oliver and other brewing partners using Fonio, a climate-resistant supergrain grown in West Africa. Oliver is also the founder and president of the Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling, the winner of Brewbound's 2024 Cause of the Year award.
