Portland, OR – Laurelwood Brewing Co. has expanded its seasonal six-pack offerings with Portlandia Pils. The pilsner will be available for the summer alongside Laurelwood’s popular year-round offerings: Workhorse IPA, Free Range Red, and Red Elephant India Red Ale (IRA).
In previous years, Laurelwood Brewing Co.’s Portlandia Pils has been released seasonally in 22 oz bottles. The Portland brewery has made the same shift in packaging for two other seasonal beers this year – Vinter Varmer Brown Ale and Green Elephant IPA.
“We’re ecstatic about our Portlandia Pils’ release in six-pack bottles,” says James Buxman, Director of Marketing & Sales for Laurelwood Brewing Co. “We feel this new packaging better suits this refreshing pilsner.”
Portlandia Pils is described as a true Northwest-style lager, with hop flavors and aromas signature to American hops – floral, pine, and citrus – balanced by a mild malt flavor. Laurelwood Brewing Co. first introduced the recipe in 2013 and began bottling it the following year.
