LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It takes a village. A Lou-a-Village!
Back in December, Against the Grain partnered with some of their favorite local businesses to work together and create an array of original Louisville products inspired by the same three ingredients: chocolate, orange, and coffee. The four-way collaboration project includes Against the Grain, Cellar Door Chocolates, Copper & Kings, and Heine Brothers’ Coffee.

Against the Grain is kicking off the collaboration project with the first product in the series. Alongside the local businesses they brewed an orange, chocolate coffee stout to highlight the three flavors and called the beer, Lou-a-Village.
On Wednesday, May, 9th, Louisville can try Lou-a-Village stout for the first time at the release event held at Copper & Kings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. $1.00 specialty coffee samples from Henie Bros. and beer floats from Louisville Cream will also be available for purchase and proceeds will be donated to St. Joseph’s Church’s Save the Steeples.
DJ Springbreak Forever will provide music for the event.
