TEMECULA, Calif. – Garage Brewing joined fundraising efforts organized by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and brewed Resilience Butte County Proud IPA to aid those impacted by the devastating Camp Fire.
They will be releasing Resilience IPA at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at their taproom/brewpub and will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of all sales to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.
Sierra Nevada sent out an SOS in November to the brewing community to help support the Camp Fire Relief Fund and provided a recipe for Resilience IPA which includes Cascade and Centennial hops.
“Living in Southern California, we are no strangers to the devastation of wildfires,” Guy Bartmess, brew master at Garage Brewing Co., said referring to the recent Hill and Woolsey fires that ravaged areas in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. “As soon as we were contacted by Sierra Nevada, we immediately jumped on board to help.”
Garage Brewing Co. along with more than 1,000 breweries rallied and brewed the special beer on Nov. 27.
