LOS ANGELES – Award-winning, family-owned L.A. brewery, Eagle Rock Brewery, (ERB) is gearing up to release the third beer in it’s seasonal Day Trip Series of canned beers brewed and packaged with the intention to pack ‘em in and pack ‘em out. At 7.5% ABV, Summit Seeker American IPA is an homage to Mount Whitney, the tallest peak in the lower 48 states, and is chock full of pine, citrus and tropical notes from Galaxy, Simcoe and Summit hops. An ideal reward for any summit, this crushable IPA will be available in the taproom beginning Tuesday, July 18, on draft and in (extremely packable)16oz cans.
Dedicated to, and inspired by the natural beauty surrounding L.A., ERB’s Day Trip Series will continue throughout the spring and summer with a final release for 2017 of Salvation Mountain, a prickly pear gose coming out in late August. All four in the series are named for an outdoor site only a short journey outside the city, and a portion of the proceeds from every can of 2 North and Salvation Mountain will benefit the national monuments they represent.
Follow #ERBDayTrip for more, and tag your social posts to encourage fellow Angelenos to get out there and explore their neighboring wilderness. Show your tagged photos in the taproom for some awesome prizes!
