Commonhouse Aleworks Hires Tap House Manager

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Commonhouse Aleworks, the first microbrewery in the heart of the Park Circle Business District, announced a key addition to their core team today as they move towards an anticipated opening date in December of this year.

Brian Stetson has joined the team as the Tap House Manager and will oversee the onsite experience of patrons looking to enjoy everything that Commonhouse Aleworks has to offer. His duties will also include working with the marketing team to inform and evangelize customers as well as managing events and special promotions.

“There is no better person to fulfill this job for Commonhouse Aleworks,” said co-owner Hank Hanna. “His passion and knowledge of beer will foster an experience that is characterized by familiarity, community, and excellence.”

Stetson has extensive customer service and operations experience in both locally owned businesses as well as national corporations. He was formerly a Senior Sales Associate with Apple, primarily interacting with customers to ensure a quality experience. He was also the Operations Manager at Distil Union, a locally owned micro-collective product company. Stetson is keenly familiar with the brewing industry as well, having worked in production and packaging at both Westbrook Brewing and Holy City Brewing in Charleston, SC. His experience behind the scenes in a brewery as well as his customer service experience are highly advantageous to this new position and will give him the ability to speak confidently about processes and product.

The tap house at Commonhouse Aleworks is a 1,200 square foot gathering place where comfort,  social interaction, and the enjoyment of beer will be key. The space will be anchored by multiple community tables both inside and outside in the large open-air beer yard. A daily menu will be available for food service as well as weekly pop-up food events.
