RICHMOND, Va. — Buskey Cider, located in Richmond’s own Scott’s Addition, will be releasing their first batch of limited release cans on Wednesday, March 21st at 5pm. The cider is a new release which is made from three ingredients: fresh apples, fresh oranges, and fresh ginger – exactly what you’d expect! They zested fresh oranges, added dry orange peel and juiced fresh ginger and oranges at the last moment to seal in freshness.
As far as the artwork, this cider can design highlights the production area located in their old train loading building, made of industrial bricks and concrete floors back in the 1940s. The can artwork boasts the approachable and robust approach Buskey takes on craft cider, depicted by the illustrative movement of the life size jenga only steps away from the production tanks. The Buskey Orange Ginger Cider will be released as their first limited release batch and first in-house design by Elle Correll on March 21, 2018.
