Brewbound Partners with Dogfish Head for 2 Years of Brew Talks Meetups

Brewbound, a leading trade publication covering the beer industry, is announcing that Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has signed a two-year agreement to become the official beer of the Brew Talks meetup series.

Brew Talks events give brewers, distributors, and retailers who are already attending major industry gatherings an opportunity to come together and take part in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry.

As the exclusive brewery partner, Dogfish Head will serve attendees a selection of its brews, including Liquid Truth Serum IPA, and the company’s key executives will participate in the panel discussions.

“You learn something, regardless of the scale of who is talking,” said Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione. “You get to hear all of these different perspectives flow into each other. It is a really effective way of expanding your own perspective on the industry.

“We are at this really dynamic, tumultuous moment in craft beer and nobody wants to go through this moment in a funnel without widening their view and seeing what else is out there and learning from each other,” he added.

The first Brew Talks meetup will take place May 1, 2018, during the annual Craft Brewers Conference.

Beer industry professionals are invited to take part in three hours of top-level business discussion and networking, beginning at 4:00 P.M., at Nashville Underground (105 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201).

Tickets are $25 for brewers, distributors and retailers and $199 for all other attendees. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild.

Official speaker and agenda announcements will be made in the coming weeks, but attendees can expect to hear thought-provoking dialogue on the evolution of the beer category as well as discussions on marketing, selling and retailing strategies for craft brewers.

“Our goal, as it has always been, is to address industry challenges and ask difficult questions about the category and how it is evolving,” said Brewbound editor Chris Furnari. “We are excited to have Dogfish Head’s support and looking forward to continuing to elevate the discourse within the industry.”

The Brew Talks series will also make stops in Austin, Texas, during the NBWA Next Generation Conference (August), and in Denver, Colorado, during the Great American Beer Festival (September). Official dates and venue selections will be announced in the coming months.

The 2018 Brew Talks meetups are also sponsored by OrchestratedBEER brewery management software. All other supplier and service companies interested in sponsoring Brew Talks should inquire about opportunities.
