VISTA, Calif. — We’ve been busy beavers expanding our original brewing facility in Vista into a full restaurant experience we call Pub980. The location is getting a major facelift we credit to its new General Manager Karye Wallace. Karye joined the beaver family in 2012 and from day one she has been the friendly face behind the bar, loved by the regulars and one of the hardest workers we know. For the first time we were able to hack into her creative talents as the interior decorator and she did an incredible job. From conception to reality, she brought our original beaver vision to our first location 980 Park Center Dr. Vista.
Pub980 will give customers a whole new experience. We’re bringing the outdoors in, and creating a space that resembles camping with your friends, while enjoying delicious food and drinks, including wine and a few guest taps. Sit around a fire pit or at a table made out of Torrey Pines under an indoor sky full of stars. You will be surrounded by Ficus trees, a 30 foot living wall, koi pond, tents, fire pits, light fixtures made from fishing polls, lanterns and so much more!
Our friends and new patrons will no doubt see they are dining amidst a full working brewery. Barrel Master Peter Perrecone will be on hand blending his notable sours, and you will find yourself among the barrels he uses for aging.
For the menu, we wanted to offer pub favorites. Chef Ramiro from our Tavern and Grill has designed a quick serve yet full featured menu. We’ll have burgers, wings, corn dogs, salads, wraps, cheese curds, onion rings, sandwiches and more. But, for a fun twist you can cook your own s’mores and hot dogs around the outdoor fire pits. Also you can’t miss our kitchen, which we designed to look like your family’s camper.
We hope people come to Pub980 to celebrate, catch up with friends, unwind from the day and overall just to have a DAM GOOD TIME.
