Savor Announces Salon Schedule

SAVOR, the American craft beer and food experience annouced the 2011 lineup for educational and tasting salons.

While admission to each salon is $30, they offer much more in depth access to the world of craft beer and a chance to rub elbows with some of the most respected people in the brewing industry.

Listed below are descriptions and details on the Salons. In addition, you can visit the SAVOR website for the complete lineup of featured brewers.

Educational & Tasting Salons

Admission to each salon requires a separate ticket purchase. Each salon ticket is $30. Admission to salons is limited to those with a General Admission ticket to SAVOR for that evening. There are two different formats to the salons – Educational and Private Tastings – see descriptions below.

Educational Salons – Craft Beer and Food Pairings

Those wishing to participate must purchase a separate ticket for each Salon. As always, these presentations will be chock full of fun information about pairing craft beer and food. Audience members will be wowed by the pairings presented by some of their favorite brewers. See individual salon descriptions for details and choose your favorite. The format is a classroom style set up, limited to 90 people.

Private Tasting Salons: Go Backstage with the Rock Stars of Craft Brewing!

The idea behind the Private Tasting Salons for presenters to share special beers with a small group in an informal setting. Hang out with some of the rock stars and rising of craft brewing as they share “special reserve” or other favorite beers in honor of SAVOR. Presenters might also feature cheeses or chocolates to pair with the beers being tasted (see individual descriptions for details). Private Tasting Salon attendees will enjoy an informal lounge-like setting and casual social atmosphere. Participation is limited to 30 people.
