A traditional dark, roasty and dry stout with notes of coffee and chocolate. Balanced hoppiness. This is very much a traditional style, no oatmeal or milk stout. Named after the famous and defunct Mountjoy Brewery belonging to the legendary Dublin Findlater’s grocers chain. Not only did Findlaters have their own brewery in the 19th century, they also owned their own distillery. Early own-brand marketing!
