DSSOLVR is more than just another secret society — DSSOLVR is an experimentation-driven clearing house for surrealist beverage concepts and design aesthetics standing in opposition to the boring beverage conspiracy. Asheville-based brewery DSSOLVR is thrilled to announce its second taproom, opening in downtown Durham, North Carolina in 2023. The Atlas Building on Rigsbee Ave will be home to DSSOLVR’s first taproom outside of Asheville, with plans to begin construction on the 2,500 square foot space in early 2023 and a projected opening date later in the year.
DSSOLVR kicks off a spooky series of recurring events built around horror genre tropes beginning on Friday March 13th from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. at its taproom and brewery in downtown Asheville. Dubbed “Friday the 13th, The First Sequel: Curse of the Kaiju,” this round of festivities will feature custom-made DSSOLVR beer bratwursts from The Chop Shop, live music performances from local acts Analog Moon and Mordaga, an immersive movie experience curated by DSSOLVR and the Asheville Film Society, and four very special DSSOLVR beer releases.
DSSOLVR, Downtown Asheville’s newest brewery, proudly opens its doors to the public on Friday, December 13th. The taproom and production facility, located at 63 N. Lexington Ave., will host a celebration from 5-10 p.m. featuring DSSOLVR beers on draft as well as a variety of packaged products available for both retail sale and in-house consumption.
Two of Asheville’s hottest breweries joined forces to throw the coolest party in town just in time for summer, as Eurisko Beer Co. and DSSOLVR released My Little Coconut Hazy Lactose DIPA on Friday, June 28 at Eurisko’s South Slope taproom and beer garden.
DSSOLVR has broken ground in downtown Asheville, renovating and reviving the 5,500 sq. ft. 1920s space at 63 North Lexington Avenue in the historic Tyler Building.
