Overview

City Star Brewing® offers award-winning, small batch ales, hand crafted in the heart of downtown Berthoud, Colorado. The small town brewery was awarded Gold and Bronze medals at the world renown, Great American Beer Festival in 2013 and a bronze metal in 2015. City Star first opened its doors over four years ago and has since become a destination for craft beer lovers. We are dedicated to brewing high quality beer that we enjoy drinking, beer you can hang your hat on.

In 2016 City Star brewed 925 barrels of beer on our mighty 3.5 barrel system, beer served in our tasting room and craft beer centric restaurants and bars throughout Colorado’s Front Range.

City Star’s taproom is open daily: Monday-Wednesday 2-9pm, Thursday-Friday 2-10pm, Saturday 12-10pm and Sunday 12-9pm. Six “mainstay” brews are always on tap: Cowboy’s Golden, Local Yokel pale ale, Red Necktar American red ale, All American IPA, Bandit Brown ale and Night Watchman stout. In addition, four taps are always dedicated to specialty beers.

Join us in the tasting room for live music Thursday-Saturday, Happy Hour all day every Thursday, potlucks, Poppin’ Bottles every Saturday, and monthly homebrew meetings. Brewery tours don’t run on schedule, but feel free to ask if someone is available to show you around the brew house.
