Weihenstephan the World’s Oldest Brewery is excited to announce that it will be launching cans in the United States through importer, Total Beverage Solution in 2021. Weihenstephaner’s flagship Hefeweissbier as well as a brand new lager, Weihenstephaner Helles, will be available in cans beginning in January 2021.
Weihenstephan, the World’s Oldest Brewery, and Sierra Nevada, one of America’s pioneering craft brewers, have released their eagerly-anticipated Hefeweissbier, “Braupakt” through a series of road show unveiling events in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Tucked away for the last 50 years, a piece of history from the world’s oldest brewery, The Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan, will get a second life as a new, limited release beer.
To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian Purity Law known as Reinheitsgebot, Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan (Weihenstephan) has brewed 1516 – a limited edition, 5.6% ABV kellerbier. Weihenstephan’s importer, Total Beverage Solution, is excited to bring this traditional kellerbier to the U.S. market.
