Overview
Mother Road Brewing Company is Arizona’s third-largest independent craft brewer. Founded in 2011 in Flagstaff, Arizona, our mission is to brew distinguished beers and build community, one pint at a time.
We support local Arizona charities and conserve and protect our state’s 800 unique species of wildlife.
When you’re not at home or work, Mother Road Brewing Company is your “third space” – a place where everyone is welcome, where we connect and build relationships over our incredible craft beers.
Arizona Game & Fish Department and Flagstaff-based Mother Road Brewing Co. continue their philanthropic collaboration to bring critical on-the-ground wildlife conservation work for over 800 species across the state through proceeds from sales of craft beer Conserve & Protect Golden Ale.
And the 2022 Award of Distinction goes to Mother Road Brewing Company with the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) for their public-private partnership on Conserve & Protect Golden Ale.

Last year Mother Road brewed 19,385 taxable barrels (BBLs) — well over the mark of 15,000 BBLs The Brewer’s Association uses for its Regional classification.
It has a new name, the recipe has changed, but the goal remains the same: bring awareness and support to on-the-ground wildlife conservation. And it’s a partnership that has done just that.

Last week, owners Michael and Alissa Marquess signed a lease on an 8,000-square-foot production facility about a mile east of the historic Mikes Pike brewery. This gives supporters a lot to celebrate for Mother Road’s 5th anniversary on November 17th.
