Douglas, MI — Saugatuck Brewing Company is happy to announce the opening of a secondary Tap Room, dubbed “The Barrel Room.”
This is the result of a full reconstruction of the former Singapore Room banquet hall. The visual focus of the new tap room is a large cooler that holds up to 320 oak barrels, all filled with various beer styles in the aging process. The Barrel Room has 15 taps, which will often include various Barrel Aged styles, along with classic SBC staples.
While the full Pub menu will not be served in the Barrel Room, there will be a variety of unique munchies available. Along with snacks and beer, the Barrel Room also features big screen TVs and an array of games to play, including shuffleboard, pinball, bumper pool and darts.
The Barrel Room at Saugatuck Brewing Company will be open to the public starting on Friday, July 14th . The Barrel Room will operate with the same hours as the Pub; Sunday – Friday from 11:30 am – 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:30 am – 11:00 pm. The Barrel Room will operate on a first-come- first-serve basis with self seating and walk-up service at the bar.
