Position Summary
The Key Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales. This position will deliver sales results through distribution, product features, and building advocacy with key on & off-premise accounts. The Key Account Manager is an impact role contributing directly to the vitality of the Laws Whiskey House brand. This position is based in Colorado and will service accounts throughout the entire state.

Essential Functions
· Achieve Volume, Distribution, Features, and Activation goals within assigned account universe
· Build relationships with key stakeholders in both On and Off Premise channels: buyers/owners, floor-staff,
bartenders, and distributor sales personnel
· Successful ideation, planning, and execution of brand activation at key events such as consumer tastings,
staff seminars, charity events, and distributor functions
· Build brand awareness in key accounts throughout the entire state
· Must be willing to cold call accounts
· Maintain and track sales results and expense reporting
· Create and execute a consistent account visit schedule, providing weekly updates to management.
· Develop impactful On-Premise universe and works with buyers to create improved visibility for the Laws
Whiskey House brand
Individual KPI’s
· Calls on 30 accounts per week
· Consumer/trade activations one per week
· 6 Distributor sales work-withs per quarter
· Manages to distributor’s “Features” goal (by quarter).
· Delivers weekly KPI updates and communicates success stories
· Time Allocation - Majority of time spent in the field selling and developing key relationships

Experience/Skills Required
· Sales driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
· At least 2 years of sales experience in spirits, wine and/or beer industry
· Creative thinking and problem solving with the ability to develop and execute innovative strategies that
increase sales and market share
· Excellent interpersonal and sales skills including verbal and written communication to ensure clear and
concise communication with management, fellow employees, vendors and distributors
· In-depth understanding of target Retail, On-Premise, and online accounts
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Employment contingent upon successful clearance of a pre-employment motor vehicle record screening
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Must be 21 years of age
· Extensive drive time within assigned market required
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Power Point

Compensation
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Salary Range:
$65,000 – 70,000 depending on experience
