Portland, OR – Laurelwood Brewing Co. is excited to announce a new look and feel to its package lineup. Starting Monday, July 17th you will be able to find Workhorse IPA and Free Range Red in 6 pack cans throughout Oregon and Washington. In addition to the new package format, you will see a new look to the flagship brands. The new can designs come to you by way of the great minds at Prohibition Co. With the release of these cans, Laurelwood will be moving away from 6 pack bottles and replacing Red Elephant IRA and Golden Ale.
Ben Dobler, Director of Brewing Operations states, “Our industry is constantly evolving and looking at different ways to deliver a unique drinking experience to the customer. For the last 4 years you’ve been able to find Laurelwood’s award winning beers in glass, however as we too look at ways to evolve we’ve decided on moving our beer in to cans.”
Laurelwood is also expanding its can segment with the addition of The Wood Lager. This German style lager is a natural fit to the lineup and rounds out the offerings. According to Director of Marketing& Sales, James Buxman, “Creating a new flagship for Laurelwood has been in planning for quite some time. With Ben’s experience brewing lagers and developing lager programs, we are confident that this will become a fan favorite.”
Find these new cans at Laurelwood’s Portland pubs, as well as in stores throughout Oregon and Washington.
