PASO ROBLES, Calif. — The beers of Firestone Walker Brewing Company are ready to reach the Tar Heel State with distribution across North Carolina scheduled to begin this week.
“North Carolina has a thriving beer community that has waited patiently for Firestone Walker to enter the state for many years,” said David Macon, the brewery’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We are excited to finally be able to share our beers there.”
Firestone Walker begins its draft rollout this week, followed by packaged beer in early March. The initial featured Firestone beers will be Luponic Distortion, Nitro Merlin Milk Stout, Pivo, Union Jack, Easy Jack and Wookus.
Distribution is being handled by a statewide network of seven wholesalers: Caffey Distributing, Carolina Premium Beverage, Coastal Beverage Company, Healy Wholesale Company, Long Beverage, Skyland Distributing Company and United Beverages of NC.
Once the North Carolina distribution launches, Firestone Walker’s national distribution map will total 31 states.
“We look forward to working closely with our seven wholesaler partners in North Carolina,” said Jeff Simon, the brewery’s East Coast sales director. “They are each committed to providing the highest level of service and nurturing the Firestone Walker portfolio of beers.”
