Head Brewer Position in Valdez, Alaska

We’re on the lookout for a passionate full-time brewer to join our team! In this role, you’ll dive into all aspects of production, from brewing to packaging, while collaborating with our skilled cellar and canning teams. You’ll also benefit from the guidance of a supportive taproom manager and staff, all in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running brewhouse operations on our 7-barrel system with exceptions of 700bbl annually or more.
• Packaging beer into kegs and storage tanks for distribution and taproom
• Oversee running of Cask Canning line for in-house and distribution sales
• Manage walk-in cooler organization and inventory
• Ordering all brewery supplies

Qualifications:

• Two years experience in a production brewery position
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Brewery production - milling, brewhouse activity, fermentation, carbonating, filling both kegs and cans on our canning line
