This expansion furthers the goal for the Texas-based cider company to help Americans fall in love with cider again. Craft Cider, which was considered the ‘Original Drink of America’ in the pre-Prohibition era, is experiencing a resurgence because of companies like Austin Eastciders.
Austin Eastciders’ five cider varieties, including Austin Eastciders Original Dry Cider, Austin Eastciders Texas Honey, Austin Eastciders Hopped Cider, Austin Eastciders Blood Orange, and Austin Eastciders Pineapple Cider, will be available in 12 oz. cans and by draft at select locations throughout Kansas. Standard Beverage Corporation, the state’s largest wholesale distributor of alcoholic beverages, which has operated since 1949, will distribute Austin Eastciders fine ciders in Kansas.
