With an ancient connection to a modern style, this wheat beer based creation finds its inspiration from a 10,000 year old poem, Ode to Ninkasi (the ancient Sumerian goddess of beer). Seasoned with cardamom, coriander, and orange peel, this beer appears robust but is surprisingly light, deep, balanced flavor with a lingering clean and dry finish. With its wheat and barley base, this beer takes you back to the dawn of civilization as merchants travelled the desserts with the only water purification equipment on hand; sun baked grain, skins of fruits and foraged seasonings.
