Official description from the brewery:
We welcome the cold winter months by taking all the stuff people love about IPAs and adding plenty of caramel and dark roasted malts. This dark, coffee-colored ale pours a rocky, light tan head, and leaves plenty of lacing on your glass. The hoppy pine and floral aromas ready your palate for an immediate bitterness. Instead, the sweet, caramel malts blitz through, followed immediately by a sharp, pine, and citrus flavor from the Centennial, Simcoe, and Cascade hops. The smooth body leaves a long-lasting hoppy finish. The dark, roasty malts in IBA will stand up well to braised entrées: try beer braised chuck roast, braised pork shoulder, or braised artichokes over pasta.
